Loosen your tie is all about loosening up and letting go. I purposely held my brush loosely while painting this to encourage a looser marks and and looser painting, to get rid of 'control' in the studio and let creativity take its rightful place. Something many of us could do more of in life. The results can be beautiful.

The Breakthrough Collection was inspired freedom.  I was intent on encouraging myself to create freely and let go in the studio. To stop judgement in its tracks and just paint. Less thinking, more painting. Exploration of color and marks. Some paintings in the collection were inspired by places or moments, others were created in the moment and are an expression of the emotions and energy that were flowing through me at that time.
